Description: Kuro is a Japanese Black Rice lager which we have brewed to settle into the winter months. In the glass this one’s pouring an opaque black, with a thick and creamy light mocha coloured foam. On the nose, the roast from the malt is popping through, giving those filter coffee and caramel notes. In the glass we're tasting a beautifully clean and crisp beer, that’s nice and light bodied with touches of roast and dark chocolate, rounded out with lightly refreshing lager esters. The finish is clean, with a quick dry snappy bitterness, exactly what we like in this style. Pair this one with your absolute favourite ramen and enjoy.
