Description: Even the most fastidious plan comes unravelled when Working Title gets involved. A super smooth and silky RIS, aimed at Maker's Mark Bourbon Barrels for a short sojourn and left for 12 months because we laugh in the face of scheduling. The result is unexpected but superior, like it was always meant to be.
12 malts drive the chocolate complexity; with savoury biscuit, sweet caramel and bitter chocolate all contributing their opinion. Gentle notes of rye, oats and wheat add to the cacophony. A perfect RIS combo of Willamette, Simcoe and Columbus barely waylay the chaos of dank pine, minty spice and a balanced white pepper bitterness. An ambitious project that confused itself in its simplicity.
